Dieses Geduldsspiel ist uns aus dem Alten Ägypten überliefert worden. Es stammt aus der Zeit der Pyramiden und hat die Tochter des Sonnengottes, die Katzengöttin Bastet, auch genannt „die Sanftmütige“ erfunden. Um ihre Sanftmütigkeit zu erhalten, hatte sie eine Reihe von Geduldsspielen entworfen, dies ist eines der wenigen, welches noch erhalten ist. Es baut sich aus 4 Teilen zusammen. Damals wurde es von Könnern in der Zeit einer Sanduhr (2-3 Min.) zusammengebaut. Vom durchschnittlichen Bürger in der Zeit zweier Sanduhren (5-6 Min.) und die Anfänger hatten mehr als 5 Sanduhren benötigt und mussten daher… üben… üben… üben !
